After a very dramatic and thrilling hostage-taking incident that occurred in Quirino Grandstand, the entire world saw the shortcomings and errors made by the PNP as well as the disorder that occurred right after the hostage-taking of HK tourists...
The incident lasted for 11 hours and made the entire nation breathless as it all watched the drama and suspense unfold in live television broadcast of the crisis...
It was a sad business at the end with over 6-8 dead which is still unconfirmed since at the moment the PNP Crime Lab is still on the act of performing an autopsy on the bodies and they are very curt about the information...
Anyway, it still shows how incompetent the PNP is, and although they managed to negotiate peacefully at the beginning, but it went downhill afterwards...
In response to this the Hong Kong government issued a travel advisory to it's citizens to refrain on visiting the Philippines and exercise extreme caution due to the event...
In the end we could only hope and pray that it would be resolved peacefully, but sometimes, life is fickle... It doesn't always happen the way we want it to happen.. And thus is the outcome of the brutal hostage-taking incident in Manila...
